Just received a call from a French woman wanting to confirm my bank details for a 'client' of our company. Clearly a hoax call.
A pretended french company with unknown name tried to verify our companies IBAN numbers. Strange
They pretend being mandated by a customer. Everybody should consider this kind of call as illegitimate as long as he was not informed beofrehand by the requestor. Indeed they're asking to confirm the IBANN. They knew : the name of my company, my phone number, my customer and my bank. Unfortunately, I stopped the conversation before the point where they would have provided the bank account number to check, to know if they knew it too. It might well be legitimate, but it shouldn't be considered as such, without prior notice from a legitimate identified source using a well know channel to inform you.

Wanted to confirm our IBAN but none of the companies he mentioned was a known customer. He could not explain me for which invoice he was calling nor could he state te name of his (and our) customer.
Calling from a French Company requested for Company Bank Account. But we don't have business with them. Be Careful.
I received a call from this number, they claimed that they were from a company working on behalf of Decathalon in France wanting to pay us some money but we don't deal with Decathalon, they were just fishing for our bank account details, so be careful.

Demande IBAN d'entreprise
Hat behauptet er möchte Kontenabgleich machen weil wir eine Rechnung an Sources Alma ( Mineralwasser ) gestellt hätten , konnte aber keine Rechnungsnummer oder Objektadresse nennen , sehr verdächtig . Jeder der eine Rechnung bekommt hat eine Bankverbindung zur Hand .
Sie meinten, das Unternehmen Tustpair ist ein Startup-Betrieb, der für einen unserer Kunden unsere Bankverbindung abgleichen soll.
